Cabbage Rolls Recipe

Ingredients:

Cabbage            1

Onion                1

Toast                1

Egg                   1

Vegetable Stock  250ml

Mustard             1 teaspoon

Salt

Pepper

Marjoram

 

Method:

  1. Grated the onions and toast into small cubes. In a mixing bowl, combine onions, toast, egg, mustard, salt, pepper and marjoram.

  2. Wash and pat dry the cabbage leaves.

  3. Place one cabbage leaf on a clean flat surface. Spoon some onion mixture from step 1 and put it on the cabbage leave. Tuck in the sides of the leaf and then starting with the stem end, roll the leaf tightly. Use a tooth pick to seal the opening.

  4. In a frying pan, pour in some oil. When the oil is hot, turn to low heat and put in the vegetable rolls. Cook for a while and turn the rolls to the second side. When both of the surface is brownish. pour in the vegetable stock. Cover it with lid and cook for about 30 minutes.

  5. When it is done, remove it from heat and put it on serving plate.
