English Lemon Sauce Recipe

Ingredients:

 

Lemon

Butter

Sugar

Egg Yolk

Egg white

Method:

  1. Put lemon in hot water for about 15 minutes. Scrub the wax on the surface.

  2. Peel the lemon. Grate the lemon peel.

  3. Combine lemon peel, sugar and water in a cooking pan. Juice only 1 of the lemon. Add the lemon juice into the mixture. Cook in on low heat.

  4. Put the egg yolks and egg white in a mixing bowl and beat to combine both.

  5. Add the eggs into the mixture at step 3 gradually. Stir to combine all ingredients. Cook for about 10 minutes, the sauce is concentrated. Remove from heat and leave it cool.
