Green Tea Red Bean Mochi Recipe

Ingredients:

 

Glutinous rice flour

Red beans

Green tea powder

Honey

Salt

Water

Method:

  1. Combine red beans and water. The water should just cover the red beans. bring it to a boil and cook until the red bean is soft. leave it to cool. Separate the red bean from the water. Add in honey to the red bean.

  2. combine Glutinous rice flour, green tea powder and salt in a mixing bowl. Add in water to the mixture and mix it well until it can be roll into a dough.

  3. Divide the dough into smaller portion. Make the dough into a small ball. Push down the middle of the dough to create a hole.

  4. Put the small dough into boiling water and cook until the dough can float on the surface. Separate the dough from the boiling water and put it into cool water. Leave it for 30 minutes.

  5. Scope red bean filling and put it on the dough. It is now ready to be served.
