Japanese Rice Cakes Recipe

Ingredients:

 

Low Protein Flour              3 tablespoons

Rice Flour                        1 1/2 tablespoons

arrowroot flour                 1 1/2 tablespoons

Milk                                100ml

Sugar                             60g

Canned Sweet Red Bean    3 ~ 5 tablespoons

 

 

Method:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine low protein flour, rice flour, arrowroot flour, milk and sugar. Mix it well. Preheat a steamer.

  2. Pour 3 quarter of the mixture into a baking plate. Put it into a steamer and steam for about 8 minutes.

  3. Pour the red bean on it and the rest of the mixture. Put it back into the steamer and steam for another 10 minutes. remove from steamer and let it cool

  4. When the rice cake is cool, cut into triangle and serve.
