Ingredients:

Round steak, about ¼ inch thick
Chili seasoning mix
Flour
Vegetable oil
Water
Onions, sliced
Bell pepper, sliced
Salt
Cayenne
Freshly ground black pepper |

Method:

Cut the steak into 4-inch squares. Season the meat with
the chili seasoning mix. Toss the meat with the flour to coat evenly.

Heat the oil in a large cast-iron skillet over
medium-high heat and brown the meat, cooking
on each side for 4 to 5 minutes. Add 1 cup of the water and stir,
scraping the bottom and sides of the
pan to loosen any browned particles. Add the onions, bell peppers,
salt, cayenne, and black pepper.
Stir for 5 to 8 minutes, or until the vegetables are wilted. Reduce the
heat to medium. Cover and
cook, stirring occasionally, for 15 minutes. Add the remaining 1 cup
water and cook, uncovered, for 15
to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally and scraping the bottom and sides
of the pan to loosen any browned particles.
