Stew Oxtail with Red Wine

Ingredients:

Oxtail            450g

Onion             1

Carrot            1

Red Wine        100ml

Chicken broth  150ml

Water            500ml

Butter            1 tablespoon

Sugar             2 teaspoon

Salt               1 teaspoon

Tomato sauce  2 tablespoon

 

Method:

  1. Cut onion, carrot into small cube. Melt the butter in a cooking pan. put in the carrots and onion and stir for about 1 minute.

  2. Wash and pat dry the oxtail. Put in the cooking pan and cook for about 1 minute. Add in red wine gradually and stir for a while.

  3. Add in carrot, onion, chicken broth, water and sugar. Cook over high heat for 15 minutes.

  4. Turn to low heat and cook for about 1 hour or until it is thicken. Add in salt and stir. Now it is ready to be served.
