Fish Fillet with Poached Pear

 

Ingredients:

Fish fillet
Flour
Egg
Black pepper
Salt
Wine

Red Wine Pear Sauce
Pear
Red wine
Stock
Sugar
Cornstarch
Low fat cream

Method:

  1. Peel and cut pear into slices. Place it in deep skillet and add in cream. Cook for 1 ~ 2 minutes.

  2. Add in wine, stock and sugar.

  3. Cook for 10~ 15 minutes until the pear is tender.

  4. Add in cornstarch and stir until it is mixed well. Leave it aside.

  5. Marinate the fish fillet with black pepper, salt and wine for about 5 minutes.

  6. Place the fish fillet on flour to coat the fillet with it at both sides. Again dip the fillet in egg yolk.

  7. Fry the fillet in medium heat.

  8. When fillet is done, put on serving plate and pour some source from step 4 on it. Now it is ready to be served.
